The Theatre of Marcellus in Emperors Palace, Ekurhuleni is set to rumble and dazzle with live music for AfroSoul lovers with sounds inspired by local musicians throughout the year with Gumption Inc Entertainment’s first instalment of ‘ iDube Gin Afro Soul Sessions’ whose launch will be at ‘Imbizo Shisanyama (Busy Corner) in Ivory Park, Tembisa on the 26th of February 2023 with Joel Zuma performing live and Kaya FM’s Legendary Force, Dj George Manyosi setting up the pace after.
Gumption Inc Entertainment presents on the 18th of March 2023 a Men of Soul, a Soulful night for Afro Soul lovers.
Coming alive through the sultry voices from the trio headlined by Soweto born ‘ KAYLOW ‘ whose extraordinary vocals have wooed audiences worldwide supported by S Villa whose hits include’ Thula, Kyalami, Jehova as well as his brand new hit Hlala Nami & Nick Soul who comes highly credited having performed on some of the top productions including his part ‘ Dingaan in ‘ Shaka Zulu ‘ ‘ The Musical, Phatom of the Opera, as ‘ Simba ‘ in ‘ Disney’,s Uk & Ireland tour of Lion King amongst others.
The iDube Gin AfroSoul sessions will transpire monthly to keep the AfroSoul dream alive.
The founder and live show producer for Gumption Inc Entertainment and iDube Gin, who is passionate about AfroSoul himself mentioned that he took it upon himself to reinforce the circulation of live performances.
“We aim to continually give not just support the genre but giving a chance to upcoming artists of the same genre a chance to perform as opening acts on the same stages with their bigger and more seasoned acts which will activate their brands more”.
He ended by saying live shows are the luxury offering of music lovers as they get to experience precise productions fully live with a band.
