A soccer team from Germiston (Rondebult) is appealing for help from any donors, in terms of donating any soccer kits, soccer balls, and transportation fare to travel and compete with other teams.
Coach Brutus created and named the team Supreme United FC in 2016 when he saw that a lot of kids are getting involved in drugs. “Our environment is not conducive for these young talented boys, so I decided to unite them in one room so that they don’t get time to be victims of drugs, it was not easy for me to build up the team but with God’s grace, me and my boys we went door to door to ask for donations so that we can buy soccer kits and some equipment we needed for training, but it’s a challenge because we have under 13’s, 15’s and 17’s sharing soccer kits and some of them they even share soccer boots, and sometimes we do not attend some of the tournaments because of the transportation costs. These kids need our support and believe me when I say they are talented so we are developing them, and any help will be appreciated.”
For any sponsors who are willing to contribute something, they can contact Brutus Sinkwa on 081 833 7990.
