ActionSA Joburg Caucus is worried about the delay in fixing problems with two Soweto housing projects. The Dube housing project, costing R95 million, was vandalized before people could move in. Construction started in 2009, but the Dube Hostel is still a problem under the ANC.
Nearby is another failed ANC project, Mzimhlophe Women’s Hostel. It’s incomplete due to poor work.
While government departments distance themselves, ActionSA promises accountability. They want to reclaim and repurpose hijacked buildings for affordable housing.
But we need enough housing for people in townships. ActionSA promises to fight corruption and revitalize Johannesburg and Gauteng.
Residents are asked to support these projects and pay their dues for upkeep.
ActionSA promises to fight for social justice and dignity for all.
