Roller Sport South Africa proudly presents this sensational new production, set to take place on July 8, 2023, at 15h00 at the Hammanskraal Sports Complex.
Inspired by the vibrant spirit and rich history of Southern Africa, this groundbreaking performance is unlike anything seen before. Prepare to be captivated by the dynamic artistry of 37 skaters, whose ages range from 9 to 43 years old. Representing five clubs from across the country, these athletes will showcase their prowess in Artistic, Speed, and Skateboarding.
“An African Celebration – on wheels” is the brainchild of directors and choreographers Martin van Heerden and Wendy Gila who have crafted an enthralling experience that seamlessly blends the worlds of sport and arts. The majority of the performers have never before performed in front of a live audience. Their dedication and tireless efforts in training for months have culminated in a performance that promises to be as remarkable as it is heartfelt. Each step, twirl, roll and jump has been meticulously perfected to showcase the passion and raw talent of these rising skate stars.
