The Valke Rugby Union and affiliate of the Gauteng Women’s Rugby Institute calls on aspiring women rugby players of all ages across the City to register for the 2022 season.
“We are excited to have registration open and strive to give every possible player an opportunity to play the sport,” said Jaco Coetzer, founder of Gauteng Rugby Institute and Development Manager at Valke Rugby Union.
Interested women can register online at www.valkereferees.org.za or www.gautengwomenrugbyinstitute.co.za , alternatively contact Jaco at 074 189 2349 to get a registration form.
Registration is open until the end of January and selected prospective players will be placed in a rugby team near their area. High level training and quality coaching in rugby specific skills, strength, and conditioning will be provided. Those selected will be provided accommodation for the duration of the training.
