Ekurhuleni Aerobics Festival (EAF) shutdown is taking place on Saturday the 26th of February 2022 at Willie Strauss Hall in Germiston from 8:30 am-4:00 pm.
Founder of the event and instructor for Future Shapers Aerobics Club, Ntokozo Mwelase, said the event aims to encourage ordinary members to take care of their well-being and health.
“The aerobics festival is for everyone including kids, adults, and senior citizens. The registrations for the event will take place in the morning on the day of the event,” said Mwelase.
He stated that the Ekurhuleni Aerobics Festival on 16th of June 2021 will be the 3rd Aerobic Festival and he is planning on hosting the event yearly.
“Aerobics is a form of physical exercise that combines rhythmic aerobics exercises with stretching and use of strength training routines to improve fitness,” he said.
Attendees can expect different categories of exercise all day from Dance, Zumba, Cardio, Hi-lo, and Box. There will also be entertaining activities for kids and adults.
Mwelase further said, he believes that this event will be a success compared to the previous EAF events. More people will be attending this event judging by how the ticket sales are going, more people are aware of the shutdown festival.
He plans to keep improving and reaching out to other stakeholders that can help the Ekurhuleni Aerobics Festival to be of great impact, the injection of funds such as donations, partners, and other forms of help will be much appreciated.
