Hard work finally pays-off for a young player

A 19 year-old soccer player (Lindokuhle Siyabonga Dladla) from Kwa-Thema nicknamed as Mshini in the soccer field has been promoted to a soccer team (Sivutha FC) originating from Mpumalanga.

The talented boy shared how he feels about the exciting move and his long term goals in his soccer career.

Coach Mayoyo said, “It’s encouraging to see young soccer stars taking their soccer careers seriously, however lindokuhle is a patient and humble boy, he got his nickname Mshini on the soccer field because of what he does with the ball on his feet, this boy operates like a machine, he was groomed and moulded by our team(Ayoba-Yo FC). We all need to encourage people in the Township to uplift and empower the young generation towards following their dreams, because most of these boys are talented and they deserve the spot light, I want to congratulate Lindokuhle on his milestone and he knows our mission, I trust him and his definately going to reach the professional level.” The young talented boy will relocate to Mpumalanga next week, his main dream is to play for Mamelodi Sundowns FC’s first team. Lindokuhle added by saying: “it’s an honour to me, like, I’ve been going to soccer trials so many times, but I was not recognised, so coach Moyoyo was always encouraging me not to give up, even my mother is playing a huge role in my soccer career I appreciate both their support. I can’t wait to go to Mpumalanga and represent Kwa-Thema and show them how talented we are.”

“Hard work pays and the youthful players need to be supported more especially when we see potential and talent in them, we do have a lot of talented players but the problem is that they don’t get opportunities and support,” the assistant coach(Ziblon Muhle) of Ayoba-Yo FC.

He further elaborated saying: “I’m grateful that our hard work paid-off, it’s difficult because big teams are not giving our talented soccer players these opportunities so they can prove to them how good they are, I’m so happy for this talented boy and I wish him the best, and he must carry on taking his soccer career seriously. No matter how naturally talented you are, or aren’t – there is no substitute for hard work,” he concluded.
