The city of Ekurhuleni’s controlled access community parks are now open and ready to welcome members of the public.Following the President’s announcement of the country’s move to COVID-19 lockdown level 2, effective from Tuesday, 18 August. All park goers can now enjoy the use of the city’s parks.However, residents are urged to follow the strict COVID-19 rules of always maintaining social distance of 1.5 meters, wearing of cloth facemasks and regularly sanitizing or washing hands.The access-controlled parks will operate from 06:00 to 18:00 daily. Security guards at the gate will monitor and manage the number of people entering the parks to avoid overcrowding.
