The City of Ekurhuleni has opened the door of a vehicle licence disc
renewal drive-thru facility in Springs.
The licensing drive-thru facility located on Plantation Road at the
Springs Civic Centre next to the clinic started operating on Tuesday 08
March.
The drive-thru facility, located at the Springs Civic Centre offers
access to motor vehicle disc renewal services for vehicle owners.
Motorists will now be able to renew their vehicle licence discs in the
comfort of their own cars.

Moseki said “We would like to announce that the drive-thru facility for
vehicle licence renewal is now open to the public and motorists who wish
to renew their licences are now welcome to come through”.
Moseki said the facility would bring quicker access to vehicle licence
renewal service for the community of Springs and surrounding areas.
“We also intend to expand the footprint of this service to communities
that could not access such services conveniently,” Cllr Moseki said.
He said that the City had previously launched the same service in
Katlehong, Duduza and Kwa Thema to bring vehicle licensing services
closer to where our communities reside.
