Wetravel Holidays is an organisation led by, Sekhwiti Tiisetso Malau. The Daveyton-based company is donating school shoes to schools in Ekurhuleni mainly Springs, Tsakane, and Daveyton. As part of giving back to the community that has been supporting them for seven years. They are looking to donate 40 or more shoes to learners on the 21st of March 2023, Human Rights Day.
“As Wetravel Holidays, we aim to relieve underprivileged children by giving away shoes and some sanitary pads to girls, also hoping to create a better future for everyone, as the saying says. ‘when one door of opportunities opens, the door for crime closes’ said, Sekhwiti Malau.”Since education is the Key to success with that in mind, there are other aspects we need to take into consideration.
Children cannot enjoy or may not be able to focus if they constantly need to worry about the fact that they do not have shoes. If learners feel like they are being supported by the community and parents, they will be motivated to study hard because someone out there is supporting and encouraging them.” he added.
Their mission is to get more partnerships, sponsors, and community members to assist in making this project a success as they wish to assist as many people and children as they can. We travel is requesting assistance from the community members of Ekurhuleni to donate a minimum of R100, School Shoes, or Sanitary pads to help these children.
