Colonel Elite Phindi Mabitsela is looking forward to serving the community of Vosloorus following her transfer from Tembisa Detectives to head the Vosloorus Detectives as their Commander.
With 36 years of experience, the veteran police officer has taken the reigns of being the Vosloorus Detectives Commander.
Colonel Mabitsela graduated from the Police Training College in 1987.
She worked at Client Service Center Middelburg SAPS Mpumalanga as a Constable, where she was doing crime prevention. 1993 she was promoted to the rank of Sergeant in the detective environment as an investigating officer. In 1996 she was promoted to the rank of inspector investigating cases against children at the Child Protection Unit in Middelburg. She also doubled as Communication Officer and Social Crime Prevention for the unit.
2003 she qualified as a Criminalistic expert in the Local Criminal Record Centre at Witbank Mpumalanga. 2006 she was promoted to the rank of Captain in the Management Information Centre as a strategic manager at Secunda SAPS Mpumalanga and then transferred to Alberton SAPS.
2013 she graduate with a Bachelor of Police Practice. 2014 promoted to the rank of Lt Colonel in the Management Information Centre Germiston SAPS. She was then moved to Detective as a group Commander of Serious and Violence Crimes.
2019 She graduated with Bachelor of Business Administration honours and was appointed Detective-Commander at Etwatwa SAPS.
2022 she was promoted to the rank of Colonel at Tembisa SAPS as Detectives Commander. At the moment she is pursuing her Master’s degree in Policing.
