Getting food from local food franchises has been made easy by Thol’igawulo which is a small business doing local food deliveries.
The business started in 2020 helping people from the townships to get their food delivered, Nkosana Masango a young entrepreneur from Vosloorus who is a manager to Thol’igawulo said ” The business was started to give employment to young boys who can drive scooters to provide for their families and put food on the table to prevent them from engaging to crime”.
Local deliveries less than 5km are suitable for Thol’igawulo as they have an app that can be downloaded on the play store for people to place orders from local restaurants.
Thol’igawulo company ensures that their customers get their food fast. Future plans for Nkosana’s company are to work with more restaurants and grocery stores to make life easier for people who live in townships.
